831 A Bullhead City man was taken to the hospital Saturday morning after rolling his vehicle on the Bullhead Parkway. Garret Dean Colley, 20, of Bullhead City, told investigators he was reading a text message when he lost control of his silver Toyota Corolla, near the Canyon Drive intersection shortly after 9 a.m. Colley, who was not wearing his seat belt as required by Arizona law, managed to kick out the driver side window and crawled out of the car and called 911. He was treated at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center for minor injuries. Police issued Colley citations while he was at the hospital. He was cited for failure to control speed to avoid a collision, obstructing driver’s control by text messaging, failure to wear a seat belt and for having no proof of insurance at an accident scene.
