The Colorado River Historical Society is presenting a field trip to historic Oatman, Arizona. It is free to the public. The date of the trip is Monday, January 11, 2016. We will meet at 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of Boundary Cone Road and old route 66, just below Oatman. We will drive our own cars and we will all bring a sack lunch. We will visit old gold mines, Route 66 and the burros that roam the city freely. This field trip will be led by Vicki Salyer, who has studied the Oatman area and can tell us the history of the area. Vicki is a docent at the Colorado River Historical Society.
