The Governor’s office has selected three finalists and scheduled interviews for the top applicants for Division 3 Mohave County Superior Court Judge. The contenders include Mohave County Supervisor Steve Moss, Court Commissioner Billy Sipe and Justice of the Peace Jill Davis.

Members of Governor Doug Ducey’s executive staff interview the candidates on Thursday, July 6.

“All interviews are open to the public and the media,” a news release stated. “Each interview session will include a public comment period for members of the public to comment on the judicial applicants.”

The interviews will take place at the Mohave County Board of Supervisors auditorium in downtown Kingman. Moss is scheduled at 2:00 p.m., followed by Davis at 2:30 p.m. and Sipe at 3:00 p.m.

Governor Ducey will make the appointment to fill the seat being vacated by the June 30 retirement of Judge Steve Conn.
