Sedona Police is investigating a two vehicle crash that killed three people Sunday afternoon on Highway 89-“A”. Lieutenant Lucas Wilcoxon says it happened when the first car driven by 48 year old Ross Willoughby veered into oncoming traffic at Rolling Hills Drive.

Wilcoxson says Willoughby died at the scene as well as two people in the car Willoughby hit, and a third person in that car was taken to Flagstaff Medical Center for life-threatening injuries.

Willoughby’s body will undergo an autopsy to determine what caused him to veer into the other side of the road. The people in the other car were all from Phoenix. Willoughby is from Verde Valley.
