Three missing Glendale children have been located safe and sound.  Glendale Police say 26-year-old Shawntaye Beavers left her three children, ages two, four and eight, alone in their apartment while she ran errands.  A family member dropped by

and found the children alone.  Concerned for their safety, the family member took the children with him after trying unsuccessfully to contact the mother.  He took the children to their grandmother’s home where the children were found by authorities.  All three children have been taken to the Glendale Family Advocacy Center and the Department of Child Services is now conducting an investigation after it was discovered the mother’s home was “unsanitary” with fecal matter found inside the home.  Beavers had two outstanding warrants for disorderly conduct and theft.  She was arrested for the warrants and could face additional charges of child neglect.
