traubLake Havasu City spent nearly a quarter-million dollars on spring time television marketing. Doug Traub, the President of the Lake Havasu Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, told City Council members Tuesday that 340 television spots aired in southern California, Phoenix and Las Vegas from early March into May.

Increased from $180,000 in 2014 to $230,000 this spring, it was the most expensive Lake Havasu tourism marketing campaign funded to date. Traub said it is hoped the community will see a nice return on the investment in the form of visitation and expenditures.

Traub told council members the Bureau is also engaged in successful use of social media tools to promote Lake Havasu.
