havasuemblemThe Lake Havasu City Operations Department and the Keep Havasu Beautiful Committee are co-hosting a dedication for all trees and benches purchased through the Commemorative Tree/Bench Program at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at the Community Center in the Relics & Rods Hall located at 100 Park Avenue.

This event acknowledges donors of 31 trees and nine benches purchased between September 6, 2015 and April 7, 2016.

A tree and plaque may be purchased through the Commemorative Tree/Bench Program for $225. Benches are available for $693.11 and the bench plaque is $150. Price includes 40 characters on the plaque. Additional characters are 50 cents each.

All trees are already planted and available at the following locations: Municipal Airport, City Hall, Police Facility, Grand Island Park, SARA Park, SARA Dog Park, Smoketree Walkway, Island Ballfield, Realtor Park, Dick Samp Memorial Park, Avalon Park, Mainstreet McCulloch, and London Bridge Road.
