Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jeffery Mark Tatum, 60, of Golden Valley, on Sunday, June 7 for suspicion of trespassing, felony. On June 6, at about 4:20 p.m., deputies responded to a burglary in progress at a residence in the 5600 block of North Laguna Road. Dispatch advised the reporting party observed a male subject enter a neighbor’s residence through a garage window. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the reporting party. The reporting party said that he observed a male subject who happens to live behind the residence on another street in a travel trailer entered the residence through a garage window. The reporting party further said that the male subject has since left and went back to his travel trailer. The reporting party advised that he contacted the homeowner and the homeowner said there is not supposed to be anyone on his property. Deputies responded to the travel trailer located in the 5600 block of North Parker Road. Deputies contacted a male subject identified as Tatum. Deputies questioned Tatum and he said that he was on the property, but he did not go into the house. Deputies attempted to contact the homeowner without success. Later that evening, deputies received a call from the homeowner. The homeowner said there is not to be anyone on his property and he does want to press charges. Approximately 12:35 p.m., deputies contacted Tatum in the 5600 block of North Parker Road where he was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
