Detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Bureau, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET) with the assistance of the Street Crimes Unit, served a drug-related search warrant inside a local hotel room. The search warrant was a result of an on-going drug investigation with the occupants inside the room.
Detectives located and seized 16 grams of methamphetamine, a small amount of heroin, a small amount of marijuana, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia. The street value of the drugs is approximately $1,700.
Arrested during the search warrant were 35-year-old Adam Hofstadter and 26-year-old Wayne Jedrey, both residents of Lake Havasu City.
Hofstadter was arrested and charged with possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of narcotic drugs, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jedrey was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
At their initial appearances, Hofstadter was held with no bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. Jedrey was held on a $10,000 bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
