BULLHEAD CITY – A second infant has reportedly died at a Las Vegas hospital from critical injuries sustained from alleged child abuse. In reports previously released regarding the death of the first child, 1-year-old “Kaden”, which was confirmed by family members, it has been reported that a second infant has also succumbed to injuries from alleged child abuse causing confusion among authorities and reporting parties. Within in a 24-hour period from the death of “Kaden”, a second infant was also airlifted to Las Vegas. Bullhead City Police spokeswoman, Emily Fromelt said officers were called to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center late Wednesday night for a report of an infant in critical condition. The infant was later airlifted to Sunrise Hospital for further treatment where the baby later died around 1:30 p.m., said Fromelt. Fromelt added that the investigation into “Kaden” is not being investigated by the Bullhead City Police Department. Earlier on Thursday, a family member close to “Kaden’s” case said the boy had been on life-support and not breathing on his own. The infant allegedly sustained blunt force trauma to his head, but it is unknown by whom. Information on the deaths of the infant’s is forthcoming pending further investigation and all autopsies that will be conducted by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
