The Bullhead City Police Department is investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that left two people dead.

On Friday, September 30th at 4:50 p.m., emergency crews were dispatched to the area of Highway 95 and Wolf Court for an accident involving a motorcycle.

According to witnesses, the motorcycle was traveling northbound on the highway at a high rate of speed and splitting lanes before the crash. Witnesses reported that the motorcycle clipped the rear end of a vehicle, causing both the motorcycle operator and passenger to be ejected. The motorcycle (with no riders) then crashed into another vehicle.

One male motorcycle rider was transported to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center (WARMC) and the other male motorcycle rider was transported to Valley View Medical Center. They were both pronounced deceased at the hospitals.
A male and female from the first vehicle that was struck were transported to WARMC with minor injuries.

The names of the deceased will not be released until next of kin has been notified. The accident is still under investigation.
