A two-year-old little boy who was found floating in a pool on Monday has died. Lieutenant Mike Pooley with Tempe police says the family had been searching for the child and checked the pool, but didn’t see him.  The pool was cloudy  and the child was not visible.  Tempe Fire Medical and Rescue crews arrived and jumped

into the pool where they discovered the boy at the bottom of the pool.  The child was unresponsive and rushed to the hospital where he died three days later.  Pooley says “there is not a fence around the pool and it is believed the children were playing in the front of the house and the boy gained access to the backyard and pool through a side gate that was left open.”
