Two Las Vegas, Nevada residents were killed in an eight vehicle pileup on highway 93 on Tuesday, March 21. The Department of Public Safety (DPS) said the series of collisions began after a vehicle pulled out onto the highway in front of oncoming traffic about 40 miles north of Kingman.

DPS said the driver of an eighteen wheeler that was pulling another eighteen wheeler swerved to avoid the vehicle and overturned. Eight vehicles ended up colliding in succession as they rolled into the debris field.

DPS said two adults and a dog were killed when an “RV-style Peterbuilt  Truck Tractor” struck their 2014 Toyota sedan. The victims were identified as Larry Olsen, 74, and Rhonda Olson, 60, resulting in the deaths.
