A six year-old Lake Havasu City girl is getting some celebrity attention after being rescued by UFC fighter Meisha Tate. Kai Ellis broke her arm over the Labor Day weekend during a fall along the Mary Jane Falls trail at Mount Charleston, northwest of Las Vegas.
Multiple media outlets report that Tate was hiking he trail when she encountered the mother struggling to care for the injured Ellis. Tate scooped up the little girl and carried her to safety two miles down the trail.
Ellis used social media to thank the popular UFC fighter for the rescue effort.
