vvmedValley View Medical Center is offering low cost sports physicals for Tri-State area students.  The physicals are available at Crossroads Urgent Care, 3641 S. Highway 95 in Bullhead City.  No appointments are necessary. Physicals will be given by either a board-certified physician or a family nurse practitioner.  The urgent care is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Valley View and Crossroads officials noted that deadlines have already passed for some schools, but have not yet been reached for others.  Children with known medical conditions should be examined by their pediatricians or family physicians before engaging in any strenuous athletic activities. The sports physicals are available for $15, and payment is by cash or credit cards only.  Receipts are available for insurance or medical flexible account submissions. Crossroads Urgent Care also has many vaccines required by Bullhead Elementary, Clark County, Colorado River Union, Mohave Valley, MALC, Montessori, Needles, Topock and Young Scholars Schools.  Fees and charges vary for vaccines.
