image003Canvassing the May 17 election brings Mohave County Supervisors together for a special board meeting Thursday. Supervisors are expected to officially ratify county vote totals for Propositions 123 and 124, as well as the election of Lake Mohave Ranchos Fire District board members.

The board members will take back local control of a fire district that was placed under the care of a special administrator in early 2013 when it teetered upon bankruptcy. Administrator John Flynn will likely be relieved of those duties during the county board meeting in Kingman that starts at 9:30 a.m.
