A shooting at a Chandler Walmart has left the suspect dead and two officers wounded.  Chandler Police Chief Sean Duggan says 24-year-old Mitchell Oakley walked into a Walmart that he had been warned never to enter again leading a Walmart employee to call police.  Two officers arrived on scene thinking it was a

simple case of trespassing, but were soon ambushed by the trespasser.  Within a split second of officers approaching the suspect, he fired off multiple rounds striking the officers.  The officers drew their guns and shot Mitchell Oakley dead.  Walmart shoppers jumped into action and started to render aid to the officer before the ambulance arrived.  The two officers were transported to the hospital and remain in stable condition. Oakley had family ties to Chandler, but was considered a “Transient.”
