MOHAVE COUNTY-The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in locating Amber Lee Smith, 34, of Kingman, and her two children.
Trish Carter, spokeswoman with the sheriff’s office said the Department of Child Services was in the process of taking temporarily custody of Smith’s children in Kingman, when Smith left with her children Friday afternoon.
Smith is wanted on a felony warrant for custodial interference issued by Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. She is described as a white female, 5’07” at 160 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.
The missing children are; Justin Huerta, 8-year-old boy and Melissa Huerta 6-year-old girl.
An Attempt to Locate was issued to law enforcement for Smith and her children, said Carter.
The vehicle is unknown or direction of travel.
