Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Randy Paul Kirchmeier, 49, of Fort Mohave, Sunday (3/8) afternoon on a misdemeanor warrant issued by Bullhead City Justice Court for failure to pay fines. Approximately 2:20 p.m., deputies responded to a residence in the 4300 block of South La Calzada Drive. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the homeowner. The homeowner advised that he recently purchased the house and the house is supposed to be unoccupied. The homeowner further advised that he wanted to check the house for any occupants. The homeowner and the deputy entered the unlocked front door and observed an adult male subject on the couch. The male subject identified himself as Kirchmeier. A records check showed Kirchmeier to have an arrest warrant. Kirchmeier was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The homeowner was provided with landlord tenant information and was advised if there was someone living there he would have to evict them.
