Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Leonid Elahn Lee, 30, of Lake Havasu City, Thursday (12/31) evening on a failure to appear felony warrant issued out of Maricopa County Superior Court and criminal damage per domestic violence, misdemeanor. Early Monday (12/28) morning, at about 12:15 a.m., deputies responded to a domestic violence call in the 3100 block of London Bridge Road. Upon arrival, deputies observed a male subject, later identified as Lee, standing outside the front door holding a vodka bottle that was 80% empty. Deputies took the bottle and placed it inside the doorway. As deputies turned back, they observed the male subject had left. Deputies contacted the reporting party. The reporting party that Lee got upset with his girlfriend and he started throwing stuff around the room. Deputies contacted Lee’s girlfriend and she advised that Leo has been staying with her for the past month off and on. She further advised that she doesn’t know Leo’s last name, but he lives with his sister. She said that the more Leo drank, the more he became angry and started throwing stuff around the room. Deputies observed a broken lamp on the floor along with cigarettes butts and plastic containers scattered across the floor. Deputies determined Leo’s last name to be Lee. Deputies attempted to locate Lee without success. Thursday (12/31) evening, at about 7:00 p.m., deputies returned to the residence in the 3100 block of London Bridge Road. Upon arrival, deputies contacted Lee’s girlfriend. Deputies asked about Lee being inside. Lee’s girlfriend advised that she lied about what happened that night as she was the one that broke the lamp. Deputies again asked about Lee being inside and she said yes. Deputies contacted Lee. During conversations with Lee, he said that he got mad that night and he just pushed the lamp to the side and it fell and broke. Lee was taken into custody without incident. A records check showed Lee to have a felony warrant. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
