Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Megan Lee Yost, 36, and Jerry Dean Ward, 38, both of Golden Valley, Saturday (3/14) evening. Yost was arrested on a fugitive from justice felony warrant issued out of North Dakota on drug related charges. Ward was arrested on a contempt of court misdemeanor warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court. Approximately 7:10 p.m., deputies responded to a complaint of loud music in the area of W Kit Drive and Ligurta Road. Upon arrival, deputies did not detect any loud music in the area. While in the area, deputies knew Ward who lived in the area to have an arrest warrant. Deputies responded to a residence in the 6200 block of W Kit Drive where they observed Ward in the front yard. Ward ran into the residence after deputies advised him of his warrant. Utilizing a public announcement system, deputies attempted to have Ward exit the residence without success. Eventually, Ward opened the front door after deputies were attempting to make entry. Ward was taken into custody without incident. Inside the residence, deputies located a female subject hiding. The female subject was identified as Yost. A records check showed Yost to have a felony warrant. Yost was taken into custody without incident. They were transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
