Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Trina Marie Noelani McConkey, 33, and James Michael Tiry, 30, both of Kingman, early Thursday (11/19) afternoon. McConkey was arrested on a felony warrant issued by Mohave County Superior Court for child abuse, dangerous drug violation and drug paraphernalia violation. Tiry was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court for failure to appear. Approximately 1:45 p.m., deputies contacted McConkey in the 3200 block of McVicar Avenue during an unrelated investigation. During the investigation, deputies knew McConkey to have an outstanding warrant when she was taken into custody without incident. Deputies also contacted a male subject identified as Tiry. A records check showed Tiry to have a warrant. Tiry was taken into custody without incident. They were transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
