Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jimmy Lee Clouse, 61, of Kingman, early Sunday (1/10) morning for misconduct with a weapon, disorderly conduct with a weapon and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, felonies.
Approximately 1:00 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a disturbance at a residence in the 2100 block of E Lass Avenue. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the reporting party. The RP said that Clouse is an ex-boyfriend. The RP further said that she and her friend were inside her residence when she heard Clouse at a residence behind her. Deputies contacted the RP’s friend, a 50-year-old male victim. The victim said that he went outside and Clouse was yelling profanities. The victim further said that he heard two shots fired and he observed big blue flashes come from the barrel. Deputies contacted Clouse at a residence in the 2100 block of E Snavely Avenue. Clouse initially denied going outside in the backyard and not knowing of any weapons inside the residence. Deputies got consent to search the house. Deputies located a .38 special revolver inside the dryer. During conversations with Clouse, he said that he was not going to hurt anyone. Further conversations with Clouse, he said that he fired two shots into the ground to scare them. Clouse was taken into custody without incident. A computer check showed Clouse to have numerous felony convictions. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
