A pavement maintenance project on State Route 95 from Camp Mohave Road to the Bullhead City Parkway (mileposts 238 to 241) is delayed until next week due to rain, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Motorists are advised to be alert and prepared for intermittent lane closures in both directions and brief delays beginning Monday (Jan. 11) through Friday, Jan. 15 while crews perform preventive maintenance work.
The work will require lane closures from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Construction will include the application of a protective layer to the pavement, designed to preserve the existing roadway. The speed limit will be reduced in the work zone. Motorists are reminded to proceed with caution, slow down, and be alert for construction equipment and personnel.
ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule.
