Hualapai Nation Tribal police will be busy over the upcoming Labor Day holiday weekend. Officers will be conducting another traffic enforcement detail between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
A news release indicated that the holiday can bring an increased number of tourists, intoxicated drivers and other safety concerns. “The goal is to deter drivers and passengers who choose to drive or ride while drinking and those who choose to drive recklessly,” it said.
The zero tolerance campaign will be conducted along East Diamond Bar Road, between Pierce Ferry Road and the reservation.
