The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is planning two public scoping meetings to discuss the management of Wild Burros in the Black Mountain Herd Management Area (BMHMA). The BMHMA is located 15 miles west of Kingman, Arizona, and parallels the eastern shoreline of the Colorado River for 80 miles, from Hoover Dam south to the Needles Bridge in California.
The meeting schedule is as follows:

From 6:00 to 6:30 p.m., there will be poster presentations available for viewing. At 6:30 p.m., there will be a formal presentation. The formal presentation will include the following topics:
- Current population estimate
- Vegetation utilization data
- Fertility control on Wild Burro
- Appropriate Management Level
- Burros outside the Herd Management Area
Following the formal presentation, attendees will be able to provide comments on issues, data, and other concerns.
