The City of Bullhead, Mohave Valley Daily News and Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce are preparing for the Fifth Annual Senior & Winter Visitor Expo set for Friday, February 10 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the gymnasium at Mohave High School located at 2251 Highway 95. The event will be expanding to 99 vendors this year by moving from the Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce to the Mohave High School gym.
This event is geared toward bringing our seniors and winter visitors up to date on what is going on in their community. Examples of some of the vendors that will be there are medical/health professionals, real estate, non-profits, local businesses and your local municipality.
A free reusable shopping bag will be handed out upon arrival by Mayor Tom Brady to every participant while supplies last. Participants can also enter a drawing for free raffle prizes provided by our generous sponsor Walmart.
Complimentary coffee and sweets will be donated by Walmart. Mohave Electric Cooperative will donate bottle water for all the attendees.
“Over the last four years this event has gone from 600 participants to well over 1,200 and counting. So all parties involved decided it was time to venture out into a bigger venue. This year we will be able to bring the participants double the information, amenities and everything under the sun that the area has to offer,” City Manager Toby Cotter stated. “We are excited about hosting this event at Mohave High School.”
