On December 8, 2014, at approximately 12:30 p.m., detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department Special Investigations Bureau, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET), served a search warrant at a residence in the 3400 block of Big Chief Drive. The search warrant came as a result of an ongoing investigation. During the search warrant detectives located and seized approximately 25 grams of methamphetamine (with an approximate street value of $2,500), six grams of heroin (with an approximate street value of $800), and usable amounts of marijuana and cocaine. Arrested during the investigation was 42-year old Debora Jones, a Lake Havasu City resident. Additional items seized during the search warrant consisted of approximately $900 in currency and four firearms. Jones was charged with possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of narcotic drugs for sale, possession of marijuana, misconduct involving weapons, and possession of drug paraphernalia. At her initial appearance Jones was held on a $100,000 cash only bond and was later transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
