A woman suffers serious injuries after being trapped inside her burning apartment complex in Central Phoenix.  A neighbor who lives at an apartment building off 22nd Street and Campbell witnessed a roaring fire overnight with flames flowing from the windows and called for help.  Captain Aaron Ernsberger with the
 

Phoenix Fire Department says the fire was fully engulfed when crews arrived on scene. Firefighters rescued a 40-year-old woman who was discovered inside her burning apartment. The woman was transferred to a burn unit after suffering from second-degree burns and smoke inhalation.  Ernsberger says “the sad thing is with this fire, it was so intense and so great, the apartment was literally fully involved so the chair in the corner would be just as destroyed as the pillow in the front room.”
