Crash-graphic-generic A woman who crashed her car into the Colorado River Sunday night is lucky to have survived. No one apparently saw the car drive into the water at the end of Trane Road at around 9:30 p.m. The driver reportedly passed out while travelling north. The 55-year old Bullhead City woman apparently woke up just in time to escape. After driving into the river, the woman told police that she walked to her sister’s house on Lincoln Ln. She was transported to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center by Bullhead City Fire Department paramedics for treatment. She told officers that she wasn’t feeling well when she passed out. Officers said, there was no evidence to suggest alcohol or drug use and therefore no further investigation. “There was not enough reasonable suspicion to continue with a DUI investigation,” the officer wrote in his report. The woman’s car was towed out of the river.
