Yvonne Wytovich is quitting the Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce after less than two years on the job as President and CEO of the organization. Board President Lynne Peterson confirmed that Wytovich submitted a resignation letter Tuesday morning, May 3.
Wytovich started with the Chamber in August, 2014 and her employment ends May 27. Peterson said Wytovich initially gave no reason for her unexpected exit.
Wytovich, however, had more to say in subsequent communication with community leaders.
“I will be moving east to be closer to my family,” one Wytovich letter said. “I appreciate the opportunity to be a part of the Kingman Area Chamber and hope that my contributions have made a difference. I am grateful for the many friendships I’ve made that I know will continue for years to come.”
Peterson said the Chamber Board will meet soon to contemplate interim leadership and a recruitment campaign to replace Wytovich.
