A Kingman young girl is off to an early start with good deeds and philanthropy. Mayor Richard Anderson and the city of Kingman recognized eight-year-old Taylee Mote during the May 3 council meeting.
Mote used a lemonade stand on March 5 to raise $550 which she donated to total strangers. Mote gave the money to help the Willard family as two year-old Natalie Willard undergoes chemotherapy treatment for cancer in Phoenix.
Mayor Anderson called Mote “a shining example to all of us what selfless love, kindness and compassion are all about.” Kingman firefighters provided Mote with an additional $300.
