Four residents of Yucca want more law enforcement protection in their rural community. They told Mohave County supervisors Monday that they don’t feel safe.
They asked that more money be provided to the sheriff’s office to increase deputies available for patrol. They argued the county should not be spending on new building projects until law enforcement manpower is sufficiently funded.
Supervisor Steve Moss responded by noting his hope that other recent decisions by the board will allow the sheriffs office to bring on more deputies.
